The 66th International Book Fair – 191,411 visitors
Held from October 21 to October 29, 2023, one day longer than previous editions (a total of 9 days). It featured 420 direct exhibitors (exhibitors and co-exhibitors), including 356 domestic exhibitors and 64 from abroad. The total number of participants, including both direct and indirect exhibitors and represented companies, was 867. The fair was held in more than 30,000 m2 of gross exhibition space. 546 programs were organized by the Belgrade Book Fair and publishers. It was attended by over 1,200 accredited journalists from 16 different countries. In addition to publishers from Serbia, publishers from 15 other countries participated, and France was presented as the guest of honour. The jury of the 66th International Belgrade Book Fair considered and evaluated the publishing production in the categories for which awards are given.
Official opening of the School Day at the 66th International Book Fair
The hallmark of the Book Fair has always been children from the entire region, socializing and forming new friendships, books, and the smiles of the youngest visitors… This year, the School Day at the International Book Fair was opened by Prof. Dr. Ivica Radović, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, who greeted all present students, teachers and visitors.
The 66th Book Fair is open: Long Live Books!
The 66th International Belgrade Book Fair, the most representative literary event in this part of Europe, began on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Under the slogan “Long Live Books,” more than 400 domestic and foreign publishers, writers, visitors, and all other admirers of literature and the universal values of literary creation will be able to enjoy the beauty of words and numerous fair programs until Sunday, October 29.

The International Belgrade Book Fair will be opened on October 21st by the writer and publisher Vladislav Bajac. The event will last until October 29th and, as announced today by the organizers, will feature more than 400 direct and nearly as many indirect exhibitors from both domestic and international locations.
Turkey at the Belgrade Book Fair
The Republic of Turkey will participate in the International Book Fair to be held in Belgrade from 21 October to 29 October. Publications will be presented at the national stand prepared by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey with the aim of promoting Turkish culture and literature, as well as developing opportunities for collaboration in the field of publishing.

This year’s International Belgrade Book Fair will be held at the usual exhibition space of the Belgrade Fair, in halls 1, 1A, 2A, and 4. It will host around 400 exhibitors from both Serbia and abroad. During the first press conference about the event, the organizers and guests of honour addressed the media.
