The 67th International Belgrade Book Fair, held at the Belgrade Fair from October 19 to 27, 2024, was visited by 203,350 people. This is a record since attendance has been measured this way.

The fair featured 424 direct exhibitors and co-exhibitors, including 340 domestic and 84 international participants. Everything took place in four halls of the Belgrade Fair.

The total number of participants, which includes indirect exhibitors and presented companies, is 881.

In a gross exhibition area of 30,000 m², organized by the Book Fair and publishers, as many as 530 programs were held.

This year’s Guest of Honor was Cuba. In addition to Cuba and Serbia, publishers from another 15 countries participated in the fair.

The book fair was attended by over 1,200 journalists, cameramen, and photo reporters from electronic, print, and online media from 16 countries.

The most successful participants at the fair were granted awards. The Publisher of the Year was declared to be Kreativni centar. The Publishing Venture of the Year was shared by Novi Sad’s Prometej for the “Popular Linguistics” edition and Čigoja štampa for “Zbornik kraljeva i episkopa srpskih”. The Best Publisher from the Diaspora and the Region is the Metropolitanate of Montenegro, Mitropolija crnogorsko-primorska, for the manuscript books from the Monastery of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Cetinje. The award for contribution to science was given to the publisher Karpos for “Svet koji se menja: Globalni srednji vek 500-1500” The Children’s Book of the Year is Laguna’s “Naš svet u 1000 odgovora” by Marija Forero. The “Bogdan Kršić” award for the Most Beautiful Book went to “Pesma” by Oskar Kovač, published by Kontrast. The Most Beautiful Children’s Book is “Giga pravi more” by Jasminka Petrović, published by Kreativni centar. The most successful young designer is Uroš Savić for his complete authorship engagement in the book “Hodočašće rastrojenog uma” published by “Besna kobila.”

The next, 68th International Book Fair will be held at the Belgrade Fair from October 18 to 26, 2025.
